Camp A: Sunday, July 5th - Wednesday, July 8th
Camp B: Wednesday, July 8th - Saturday, July 11th
Overview
This camp is a combined effort between the Northwestern Ohio and East Ohio districts of the Church of the Nazarene. It takes place each year in early to mid-summer and is for Teenagers who have just completed grades six through twelve.
The camp takes place at Camp Cotubic, outside of Bellefontaine, OH (www.campcotubic.com). In addition to the main spiritual purpose stated below, this camp includes waterfront activities (swimming, boating, fishing, THE BLOB, water trampoline, etc), climbing wall, ropes course, zip line, outdoor sporting activities, crazy-gross games, food, friends, and much, much more.
Spiritual Purpose
In The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), Jesus made it very clear, that the purpose of the life of every believer is to be focused on discipling others. Therefore, the chief purpose of C-4 is Discipleship. Discipleship happens in big and small ways and no matter if someone has just started to follow Jesus this week or they have been following Jesus since before they could talk, the call is to still be discipled and disciple others so that we might all know Jesus as our Lord and Savior and have a deeper level of Christian commitment and understanding. This is accomplished each year through; large group worship services, small groups, personal devo time, & the organic one-on-one conversations that occur every single year at camp around the gaga ball pit or the bonfire, etc. In addition, C-4 is a great opportunity to meet other Christian teenagers from around Northwestern and East Ohio and have A LOT of outdoor summer fun.
Important Registration Information
Due to the massive appeal and success of C-4, camp is split up into two different sections so that we can continue to disciple more and more teenagers on Northwestern and East Ohio Districts. Both camps will be exactly the same. Each local church will determine which camp they wish to attend and then promote that camp for their whole group, local churches should not split up between the camps. Registration will open May 1st! The dates for the two camps are:
CAMP A: SUNDAY, JULY 5TH - WEDNESDAY, JULY 8TH
CAMP B: WEDNESDAY, JULY 8TH - SATURDAY, JULY 11TH
Please indicate below which dates you plan to attend. Please understand, this is on a first come basis. Meaning if one section fills up before you submit your registration, you will be unable to attend those dates and will be invited to join us for the alternate section. As soon as we know that one camp is completely full, we will remove that registration option from this website.
